It can be nostalgia, warmth or even just the back and forth of the trends themselves repeating. The chokers seem to be making a comeback into jewelry collections. After being attached to nearly any dress, they appear a little upscale. Minimal designs may be substituting bolder versions from the past with simple black bands, delicate chains, and minimal designs.

Slip dresses are returning to daily fashion without commotion. What might have been daring is now so easy and uncontaminated. They could be worn over tees or with lightweight cardigans and could be considered a subtle nod to that previous minimalist movement.

The statement sleeves may be returning with a soft impact. Bell sleeves and overstated cuffs appear to be resurfacing this time around, maybe with less drama than ever. The appearance does not overwhelm an outfit but adds some character to it.
